Good lookin out to both of you for the MSNBC thang. However, I was absolutely shocked at Armstrong Williams. If he could not find a silver lining in this thing, we *know* it’s bad. Actually, all the Black conservatives I’ve seen have been pretty vehemently against the segregated Survivor

LOL! I know, I was surprised too about Williams. Seriously, there’s no way they could possibly go through with airing this, right? I feel like I’m living in 1951 or something. –CVK

Carmen & Jen,
Not only do I totally agree with you two (naturally), but I’ve gotta say I felt a strange surge of pride watching you two take the message to such a broad audience.
Good on you two!

I watched both Jen’s and Carmen’s appearances on MSN, and agree that their comments were articulate and spot-on. I just think it’s a shame that the other two invited guests, who were much less eloquent, were given much more airtime. And can we discuss race without bringing up Hitler, please?

I agree that Jen and Carmen were more articulate than the other two invited guests. But they also looked so young by comparison and maybe that’s why they weren’t given as much airtime. People don’t want to hear expert opinions from “college students”. Think wearing more professional, less casual clothes. would have helped. Not trying to be mean, but Jen and Carmen looked liked they’d been interrupted for the interviews in the middle of grocery shopping.

Hey everyone, thank you SO much for the tremendous support you’ve given us! As you know, I’m usually all emotionally stunted and stuff, but I just want to say that it really means a lot to us to hear this outpour of support from you. And Amy - I completely agree with you that our outfits were not ideal. However, considering that MSNBC called us 45 minutes before we went on the air, I think it turned out pretty decently. ;) But yes, next time we’ll definitely step up the outfits. –CVK
