I've been researching the team members and see that CBS has not included any South Asians to their Asian team. This further supports their idea of "Asian" as someone only being from the Far East as opposed to South Asians, Southwest Asians, etc.

This show is an outrage. The producers don't know any better! Can someone please give me a wet towel so I can smack them on the back of the head?!

Big up to Jen and Carmen for providing compelling commentary on this shady Survivor plot. Unfortunately, however, this publicity stunt is going to probably be highly successful. It is already fueling the ignorance already present. I just got back from a visit home in Chicago and on the train I heard three teenagers - one Asian and two white - saying things like " the Asians are going to figure things out quickly" and "the blacks are probably going to do better in the physical stuff" but the "whites are probably going to win because they are good with both" and " it would probably piss off too many people if the minorities win too much." Here we go again.
