Chapelle was on Oprah and explained why he left his show. It’s really sad if after that someone needs to re-explore that territory. Chapelle was blunt with Oprah and said that what he thought was racial humor pointing a finger at racism. However, after a time, he realized that some white folks weren’t laughing with him but at him, reducing his act to ministrelry (sp?).

Yellow Face?
That’s really pathetic that the producers would white wash Kublai Kahn like that. I’d also think that an actor like Dennehy would have enough sense to turn down the role but egos in Hollywood…
