The term “Asian-American” lumps together such an immense array of vastly different cultures. Especially when you’re talking pop culture and music, I think it makes much more sense to segment the audience so there’s a Desi-specific channel, a Chinese-specific channel, etc. In fact, I think the reason so many of these all-Asian-American cable channels have failed or are floundering is precisely because they are too broad. — CVK
