My mother was multi-racial. Her mother was Chinese, Creole, White. While her father was Cherokee, Creole, Black. And although, they had 11 children. Some came out looking latino, my mother was the only one born with Asian features and gray hair. And she suffered the same mistreatment from people as Kimmora. Black people laughed at her because she looked different, and Asian students in school, called her a black Jap. So, I understand Kimmora's plight through my mother. But the oddest thing is that my grandfather told his children they weren't black, but Indian. And took pride in the fact that my grandmother was 1/2 Chinese. I guess in order to take away the sting of being ridiculed for being different, you have to see the beauty in it, and embrace it, like Kimmora.
