Power 105 DJ Star fired for racist and violent threats

Good riddance. According to tne New York Daily News, NYC hip hop radio station Power 105 fired Star, the guy who does their radio show, after he made ridiculously racist and violent remarks about the wife and children of a rival DJ:
“Yes, I disrespect your seed,” Torain ranted. “If you didn’t hear me, I said I would like to do an R. Kelly on your seed. On your little baby girl.”
Torain, 42, described in graphic detail what he meant by the reference to the R&B singer Kelly, who allegedly committed an unnatural act on an underage girl, a stunt captured on a widely circulated video.
Torain, who warned in his diatribe that he carries a gun, also called the wife of DJ Envy, whose real name is Rashawn Casey, a “whore,” a “lo mein eater” and far worse anti-Asian slurs.

A bit of a weird situation given that Envy himself was one of the singers on Hot 97’s own anti-asian and generally anti-human Tsunami Song. But that doesn’t make Star’s nonsense any less despicable, and it looks like his hate-mongering has finally caught up with him…

I don’t even understand how Star is so popular. His awkward, stilted speech is so damn annoying to listen to. How the hell does someone like that end up on the radio at all? Let alone on a top-rated show?
Oh and by the way, Star himself is mixed black/white. Just another example of how no, mixed people will not erase racism simply by existing because they themselves can be hella racist too.

It really is nice to have a mixed-race site where people actually respect their mixed heritage and don’t espouse hatred for one side. (Your hatred of Blacks, and in particular Black men, is well documented. So, please don’t argue otherwise since everyone has access to Google and the Internet cache archives to cite examples.) Shockingly, most rational, unbigoted people don’t consider “glorifying criminal behavior” the standard modus operandi of African-Americans anymore than they consider the “Sopranos” glorifying criminal behavior in the Italian-American community.
