Nobody is saying multiracial people can't "be instrumental in solving problems." What they're saying is that there seems to be a prevailing cop-out theory, where it's like, "when the world is full of mixed folk, then we'll be rid of racism. Until then, what can I do? I'm just one man... Ugh, don't tell me the coloreds have invaded &lt;i&gt;this&lt;/i&gt; neighborhood too."

Plus, there's the other fact that much of that theory is built on the assumption that multiracial people can't be racist, and as we know from dealing with certain people on these boards, that's not necessarily true.
