On the one hand, there are a lot of infertile couples who can't afford to pay an American woman to carry their child. So, the less expensive choice of an international surrogate might make sense. On the other hand, it's kinda creepy in that women from impoverished countries are being used. What happens if the child has a deformity or some other illness and the genetic parents don't want the child. Will the surrogate be forced to keep the child or will end up in a foreign hospital/orphanage? Hmm…I have mixed feelings about this.
