Talk about interracial!!!  The new drama Thief is hard-hitting, gritty and REAL.

Andre Braugher, the star is (was) married to a white woman who dies in Episode One.  He is forced to care for her teenage daughter (Mae Whitman) while also planning a heist for over 40 million with his multicultural cohorts (think HEAT…). 

I know what you may be thinking, because I thought the same.  Here we go with yet another Black “thief” hitting the streets, blah, blah, blah…and the billboards here in LA I found rather controversial. However, the cast is intensely multicultural - Asian, Latino, Black etc., and issues of race are VERY prominent.  My jaw literally dropped last night during the fight between stepfather and daughter…

You can catch Thief on FX on Tuesday nights at 10 pm. I think it airs again at least another 2X this week…
