We really appreciate all the positive feedback you’ve given us, but we also want to thank everyone who gave us constructive criticism! You’ve pointed out many issues/problems we weren’t even aware of, and have given us TONS of great ideas to improve Mixed Media Watch. So thank you, and please keep the great ideas coming!

Just a couple quick things we wanted to point out:

1) We’re very conscious of the fact that posts have been a bit sparse this week. Please bear with us, as our schedules are particularly hectic right now. But not to worry–we have a backlog of juicy items just waiting to be published, and we will post as much as we possibly can!

2) Quite a few of you have expressed dissatisfaction at the fact that your comments don’t get posted right away. The reason we moderate comments is that we get an ENORMOUS amount of comment spam. Just to give you an idea, we probably get one piece of spam for every 3 real comments we receive. So right now, moderating the comments is the best way we know of to avoid junking up the blog. If any of you know of any Wordpress plug-ins or any other methods that are effective at blocking comment spam, please do let us know!
