Tiffany - that was off another Asian guy's blog.

But, I think every Asian man in this country has several of these "Gina" autoracist rejection stories.

Anyways, there are some Asian men and Black women taking the plunge together - and it can be a beautiful thang! Here's one small site featuring some couples:

I dunno...

I didn't read her either way (then again, I have broken gaydar). If they deliberately edited a mention of her spouse out, that's a bit annoying.

In the show's defense, there wasn't as much personal stuff shared among the designers until late in the season (i.e., the last 5 or so).

But yeah - overall, I'd say that Bravo is seriously missing lesbians in general. Tons of gay men, no lesbians.

I'm sorry, but if they edit out the "gay" part...
does that automatically make her straight?

Lol, I've heard every excuse in the book why Asian women won't date Asian men - all due to some racial defect of ours.

But in reality, it simply boils down to them projecting their own self-hatred upon us.

It's great that the rest of the world - and some of these girls themselves - are finally starting to see that.

I attended a product launch recently at a friend's company and it was made very clear to me why some Asian fellas loathe our Asian sistas.

The only person I knew at the launch was my friend who was busy talking up a storm with the marketing people. So I mingled a bit, said hello, shook hands and the like when I noticed an extremely cute Asian lady downing a vodka cooler. I decided that I would say hello ("prospect" was what I immediately labeled her as) because, well, she was cute. As I made my way towards her, it seemed that she was giving me a look of appraisal and continued with her drink with a slight smirk (I took this as a good sign). When I began to introduce myself, she stopped me in mid sentence and told me "I'm sorry, I don't date Asian guys", then turned on her heel and walked away (I took this as a bad sign).

It took me a moment to process that when she saw me approaching she was planning to say this, and the smirk was because she found it highly amusing. What irks me the most is the fact that she stated it with such an air of arrogance and superiority. Look, I'm a big boy and can handle rejection. I mean, if you find me unattractive and updateable, fine. There's no need to express it like that. However, situations like the one I described are not uncommon, so I suppose I can understand why some Asian fellas feel resentment and bitterness when they see AF/WM couples. I suppose I can understand why many of said Asian fellas stopped asking out Asian women. I understand it, but don't condone it. I think its far worse that these fellas become bitter and live up to the "bitter Asian guy" stereotype and complain incessantly about Asian women, women in general, and their lack of success in their lovesexrelationship endeavors.

Will this event deter me from asking out Asian women? Nope. They're still attractive in my eyes, and I'll continue to act on that attraction.

Not that I watched them, but if I had, I'd say

I actually liked Santino's collection, Chloes was OK, but somewhat repetitive. Someone needs to send Daniel V to Asia, as I'm still wondering where the "Asian influence" was.

Regarding ANTM, there seem to be a few mixed females on the show, and Jade was OB-NOX-IOUS! Regarding Gina... well... my Chinese-American girlfriend put it best... "At least shes dispelling the myth that all Asians are highly intelligent" :)
