Of course this is racism. TO all of u people who are syaing this isnt racism, what is? Does a man have to be burned at the stake for the act to be considered racist? Do all racists say nigger every other word? of course not. racism is a sickness. it is a hierarchical dichotomy rooted in the division and classification of the human race into sub-categories. it is what this country was founded on. look it up. when a man is called a dumb coconut, he is being racialized and downgraded. his humanity is stripped from him, and is not only being disrespected buy categorized and discriminated against.

Stern’s hot chink…
PS- It was never my intention to set up Michelle Kwan to get bashed (and certainly not to be called a whore).

I can’t lie- her response sucked.
It was during the Blockbuster Awards; there were many celebs there, she was young, maybe she was just in awe… who knows.

My point in bringing it up was:
Even though Stern’s views on race & politics have evolved since his mainstream success, he was still capable of this.
What a cruel/pathetic sight: a grown man looking into the eyes of a 16 yr old girl and calling her a chink to her face.

lol I love this.You have people here rightfully complaining about racism against asians, but then come back using their own racial slurs against others groups, or saying the “blacks”, and the “jews” get away with discrimination.And if someone says this is not true, or objects to racial slurs being use, they are “sensitive” or “apologetic to black/jew offenders”.

Howard Stern has been fired, fined, protested & banned.
He never made accusations of anti-Semitism.

Look, if you ain’t a racist repeat-offender byeeotch like Miss Tarsha Nicole Jones, no need to get so defensive. If the shoe fits, wear it. If it don’t, then don’t.

She most likely represents a minority amongst Blacks - but unfortunately she’s a VERY VOCAL minority granted a VERY POWERFUL BULLY PULPIT. Out of all the possible positive, creative, intelligent candidates out there - is this gutter trash mouth really the best they could find to award that position to? What’s really going on here?

Don’t know about you guys, but whenever I hear anyone use any sort of racial slur I start to seriously wonder about the person’s intelligence level. It doesn’t matter who’s saying it, either.

I stand corrected, then.

Again, the reasons why he got away with it are:

1) While other racial slurs are completely off-limits, marginalized Asians get no respect in this country and so are easy targets. “Chink” is thus ok, while “n*gger” is not.
2) Stern is Jewish - a sacred cow in this country where any criticism of will be unilaterally deflected as “anti-Semitism.”
3) Self-hating sellout whores like Michelle Kwan only enable such behavior when they doth not protest - but actively encourage it. Unfortunately, there are many, many more of these over-assimilating White-wannabes amongst Asian-Americans than other minorities.
