Wentworth Miller and other men of color in People magazine
SA
I think there is no better way to celebrate positive representations of mixed people in the media than to note how many men of color were in People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive Issue. There was a young TV star in there who I had never heard of before but who had a hard to pin down “exotic” look
Sure enough, according to the IMDB, Wentworth Miller of the show Prisonbreak “Is of Black, Jamaican, English, German, French, Dutch, Syrian and Lebanese descents.”

he’s way cute! the first time i saw him was in a made for tv movie/series called “dinotopia”. my daughter loves dinosaurs, saw the dvd cover and wanted the movie.
then i saw him again, in the film version of roth’s novel “the human stain”. where he portrayed the young coleman silk - a man who turns his back on his african american heritage because he passes as white.
after seeing him in “human stain”, i really hoped that we’d see more of him. i’m glad to see that he has a tv show out now, “prison break” and that he’s gotten the nod as one of people’s sexiest men.

Wentworth Miller is the sole reason for me to sit in front of the TV on a Monday night. He’s amazing, and I’m glad that he’s finally made it into the public eye. He’s a cutie. And very talented too.

I disagree with you Damie, being biracial is a big part of most mixed peoples lives. It may be hard to understand unless you ARE one. I’m a mixed entertainer myself, and I’m sure it’s not all about $$. Entertainers are artists as well as public figures, and it’s commendable that they would use their visability to promote something they believe in.
