Kidada Jones seems to be carving out a new career for herself as a designer. She has just launched a new line of home decor and jewelry for Disney’s new couture collection, inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Check out pics from the launch party at FashionTribes.com, and below is their write-up:
How did L.A. bag the coolest show of any at fashion week? It probably helps that they have the star wattage to fill an entire Mad Tea Party-which, of course, they did. Disney is launching a new couture line, inspired by Alice in Wonderland. From a fashion show featuring falling chair vignettes and takes on traditional Alice garb at Petro Zilla to a tea party at the Jones residence that involved cut outs of giant tea cups, rabbits, Mad hatter cookies Alice is getting a very sophisticated makeover. The best part of her makeover is, of course, Kidada Jones For Disney. Quincy’s little girl has whipped up cashmere throws, pillow and jewelry all inspired by the children’s fable. The jewelry is absolutely phenomenal-gold and black diamond hoops inspired by playing cards, the caterpillar and more. Queue up quickly though-it is all limited edition.
