Can anyone tell that I’m sick of these stories? But…I still think it’s important to report them since so many out there would like to believe that we live in a racially harmonious world. Here’s yet another reminder. People are still hateful.

Racism rears its ugly head at a Jacksonville Wal-Mart where an interracial couple says someone carved the letters “KKK” into the side of their SUV while they were shopping.

In the time they’ve been together, the victimized couple says they’ve dealt with stares, but they never expected to be target of a hate crime. “It’s ignorance,” they said of the recent incident. ‘We haven’t done anything to them.”

The couple believes three teenagers are to blame. They say the teenagers were pulling into the store’s parking lot at the same time, looking for a spot to pull into. The woman says she was nice enough to push some buggies away so the potential suspects could park next to them. She says the teens were being flirtatious with her, until her boyfriend got out of the car.
