More typically, mixed people occupy an intermediate position in mixed societies (Black American, South African, Latin American, Indian, etc) between that of the dark lower-class and White/light upper-class.

Generally true, since many genetically linked diseases are autosomal recessives and/or the more diverse a population’s gene pool, the more likely it is that the population (not the individual, mind) can withstand selective pressures such as famine, disease, climate changes, etc. Given, you can have a very diverse phenotype and genotype, and still lack some recessive or unexpressed gene that would let you survive another generation (say lacking the sickle cell anemia gene in a malarial zone), but a diverse population means that even if you die, one of your neighbors may still live to produce offspring.

This I can disagree with - beauty is subjective and depends on a ton of social factors. Only the most basic ones seem to be rooted in biology and likely had an evolutionary advantage that we still perpetuate (ex. assymetry of face or body can hint at genetic diseases/deficiencies, injuries, effects of disease, etc. that may affect whether the individual is a good mate choice). Most are very subjective and can be rooted in socioeconomics and social standards. Heavy-set round figures in women have been valued in societies where only the wealthy or those of highest status get enough calories to stay that way. Dark skin or light skin or whatever can be seen as ideal or as evil, depending on the social context.

I think it’s dangerous to say that ALL mixed people are beautiful just by being mixed. Are you more likely to get an interesting unusual look that can be seen as pretty by mixing different sets of gene pools? Maybe… however, the current mostly-global mostly-Eurocentric beauty standard is still present. It seems that in magazines and commercials, the “beautiful” mixies are closer to the european/caucasian standard. That kind of bias can lead to us being labeled as exotic. There’s been talk about fetishization, and I know of several mixies without significant Euro ancestry who feel excluded from what society calls “mixed.”

Can you tell me where the evidence of that science study is?
