Blog Gothamist interviews Karen Quinn about her new novel, The Ivy Chronicles, a look at the cutthroat, insane world of New York City private nursery school admissions. Apparently, parents will do some crazy things to get their children into these schools. One family actually tans their children so that they’ll look biracial, and stand a better chance.
