CVK
kim osorioSOHH.com interviews Kim Osorio, the former editor-in-chief of The Source who recently–along with Vice President of Marketing Michelle Joyce–filed a sexual harassment and gender discrimination lawsuit against the magazine. Osorio, who is of mixed heritage (Latino, African-American, Asian) and Joyce described…

The Source offices as every female employee’s worst nightmare. They allege that not only were women discriminated against in hiring and promotion, they were constantly disrespected, verbally abused and treated as sexual objects. Osorio’s EEOC charges state that “female employees and/or executives were often subjected to vulgar sexual comments, sexually propositioned and/or touched inappropriately by male co-workers or subordinates.”

You can read the charges filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission by Kim Osorio and Michelle Joyce.

On a related note, if you want to find out more about the general shadiness surrounding the relationship between Dave Mays and Ray “Benzino” Scott you just HAVE to read this interview with former Source music editor Reginald C. Dennis. It’s really long, but absolutely fascinating.
